Hello there- fancy seeing you here. Here I was was, thinking I could finally get away from it all, then you come along. Who would want to read about me? I thought. Surely no one. But here you are. My Constant Reader.
Sighs deeply and with great affection*
Well, since you're here...
A pine log in the great brick fireplace crackles softly*
I suppose I can tell you a but about me.
Born to two artisan parents, I opted to enroll in my mother's apprenticeship program instead of my father's. My dad is a musician and my mother is a hair braider. I myself am a hair braider as well, and have been traveling with my parents to renaissance festivals since I was born.
Though it feels like I bought a key with no car to go with it (swindled again by the university educational system), I suppose it's worth mentioning I do have a degree in Creative writing from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. However, I consider my true education thus far to be the experiences I've had traveling to places like Cairo, Japan and Europe.
I hope to write about some of those experiences, as well as some entertaining works of fiction. At least one, anyway. Fiction is where my true passion lies. Any fiction, really. Just as long as it's good.
I hope this had given you a little glimpse into what I like, what I want to accomplish, and what you might find here with me. Let me know next time you're dropping in and I'll make an extra hot chocolate.
This one... this one is mine.
